Blue (Dusky) grouse are a neat bird. They hold well for points and taste delicious. Also, they are one of the few animals on Earth that gain elevation during the winter. In the dead of winter, when the deep snow falls, these things go to the tops of the mountain ranges and eak out a living in tall conifers.
